Location: Greater Toronto Area (GTA)
Job Type: Contract / On-Call
Reports to: Marketing Manager / Event Coordinator
Compensation: Performance-based — compensation is determined by the number of attendees you bring in and/or the total revenue generated from your promotional efforts.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the marketing team to promote events across various platforms (social media, email campaigns, event listings, etc.)
• Provide top-tier customer service and assist with inquiries from attendees, vendors, and partners
• Engage in community outreach: network, distribute materials, and promote events in person and online
• Work with influencers, local communities, and industry partners to expand reach
• Track promotional performance and report updates to the marketing team
• Support on-site event execution and guest engagement
• Contribute ideas and energy to marketing meetings and event planning
• Keep the vibe high—create and sustain excitement leading up to events

Qualifications

• Experience in event promotion, marketing, or a related field
• Excellent communication and people skills
• Strong social media presence and content creation abilities
• Comfortable in high-energy, public-facing roles
• Reliable, organized, and able to manage tasks independently
• Flexible schedule, including availability on evenings and weekends

• Skills in graphic design or video editing
• Experience with event platforms like Eventbrite, Dice, or Meetup

We’re looking for a talented and creative Videographer to join our event team on an on-call basis. The ideal candidate is skilled in capturing dynamic footage, telling compelling visual stories, and editing high-quality videos that align with our brand and event energy. You’ll work closely with our lead marketing and design team to produce engaging content for social media, promotions, and our website.

Location: Greater Toronto Area (GTA)

Employment Type: Contract / On-Call (Event-Based)

Key Responsibilities

• Capture high-quality video footage at live events and promotional shoots
• Plan and set up video shoots, including lighting and audio setup
• Edit raw footage into polished, engaging short-form content for Instagram, reels, and website
• Collaborate with the marketing and design teams to brainstorm and execute creative video concepts
• Organize, label, and maintain video archives and raw footage
• Operate and maintain your own video equipment
• Work closely with the lead marketing team to ensure all deliverables align with our brand vision

Requirements

• Proven experience as a videographer or in a similar role
• Proficient in video editing software (Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, After Effects, etc.)
• Strong knowledge of camera operations, lighting setups, and audio recording
• Own professional-grade equipment (camera, lenses, gimbal, drone, etc.)
• Creative eye, attention to detail, and ability to work independently
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Comfortable working in fast-paced environments and meeting tight deadlines

Bonus Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Film, Media Production, or related field (preferred but not required)
